Surgery

Dr. Fortin has devoted his practice exclusively to implantology since 1992. To date, he has treated over 3,000 patients and installed over 15,000 dental implants. He has renowned expertise, especially as regards the development of an innovative technique that allows patients with a completely edentulous upper maxilla to be treated less invasively and, in the vast majority of cases, without the need for bone grafts.

Dr. Fortin performs implantology treatments, implant placements, and bone grafts with the help of a specially trained, very experienced dental team in a highly structured surgical environment:

  • Stringent aseptic standards are observed.
  • A strict surgical protocol is followed to the letter.
  • Treatment planning is optimized by the latest hi-tech devices (NewTom 3G scanner and NobelGuideā„¢ 3D).
  • The operating block features ultra-safe, cutting-edge equipment, including a heart monitor, a defibrillator, a surgical unit, oxygen, and an emergency first aid kit.
  • Dr. Fortin takes the time to explain the treatment in simple, understandable terms in order to allow his patients to give informed consent for the treatment. No procedure will be undertaken without the full consent of the patient, who will make his or her decision knowledgeably and willingly.
