Zygomatic Implant Course November 12th & 13th, 2010 12 May 2010

At the request of many dental specialists and dentists, in December 2008 Dr. Yvan Fortin designed a seminar on the technique he developed using zygomatic implants that, in many cases, avoid the need for bone grafts on the upper maxilla. The feedback has been so positive that the Centre has decided to add this course to the list of regular seminars offered by the Centre throughout the year. The next course will be held on November 12 and 13, 2010, at our Montreal clinic.

Live surgery from Montreal for one of the most prestigious American dental conferences 20 February 2009

To mark the inauguration of our new international training centre, we performed a live surgical treatment for the Yankee Dental Meeting, which was held in Boston, Massachusetts, in February 2009. The goal of the presentation was to show that it is possible to non-invasively replace a single tooth with an implant-supported restoration while completely preserving the surrounding soft tissue and providing a tooth that is both aesthetic and functional, all with no pain or inconvenience for the patient.

Implantology—less and less invasive 18 February 2009

It is now possible to install an implant the same day a tooth is extracted in a visible area. The patient leaves the clinic with a temporary tooth screwed onto the implant. The tooth is fully functional and aesthetic. There is no more pain or swelling than with a simple restoration.
